GenKey ABIS 6.0.1
For any biometric identity to be reliable, there must be only one unique identity for every person registered. In a registration process, involving millions of people, duplicate identities can enter the system. It is the job of GenKey’s ABIS to detect those duplicates using biometric information such as fingerprints.
GenKey’s ABIS (Automated Biometric Identification System) is designed to find duplicate identities in small and large-scale populations. A small deployment of ABIS might consist of a single server containing the biometric information of up to 1 million individuals. A larger deployment of ABIS can consist of several servers with full redundant functionality, information replication and backup functionality. These larger systems can contain the biometric information of more than tens of millions of individuals. GenKey’s ABIS has no fundamental limitation as to the number of subjects that can be stored.
